Long Haired Collies have long, silky fur that comes in a variety of colours. They are very friendly dogs and are very loyal but need a lot of exercise and mental stimulation to stop them tearing your house apart.
Those of a certain age will remember the TV show that featured a long haired collie called Lassie who was able to find people in need of help and then she would disappear and return with a human to sort the situation out
